Media is a vital part of our lives, offering endless entertainment and information. For visually impaired users, accessing media can be challenging. The Tech Freedom app’s My Player feature solves this by providing an easy-to-use and accessible media experience, ensuring everyone can enjoy audio and video content without difficulty.

My Player Feature

My Player in the Tech Freedom app is specially made to give visually impaired users a complete media experience. Whether you want to listen to audio or watch videos, My Player ensures smooth playback with simple controls. The feature is built with accessibility in mind, allowing users to handle their media easily using screen readers and other assistive tools. With My Player, you can enjoy your favorite content in a user-friendly and inclusive way, making media more enjoyable and convenient.

How to Play Media Using My Player

1. Download the Tech Freedom app from the Google Play Store and log in.
2. On the home screen, you will find many features; among them, click on My Player.
3. The My Player screen will open, where you will see two options: Audio and Video.
4. When you click on either option, the audio or video content available on your device will appear.
5. Now, you can play your chosen content through My Player.

Note: It is not necessary to use this feature only from within the Tech Freedom app. You can also play your audio or video content directly with My Player.

Actions to Perform in My Player:

• Repeat: In My Player, you can repeat your content after it finishes. Simply turn this option On, and your content will automatically play again once it ends.
• Playback Speed: You can change the speed of your media content using this feature. Click on Playback Speed, and a list will appear allowing you to choose the speed at which you want to play your media.
• Shuffle: If you don’t want your media to play in order, you can turn on the Shuffle option. This will make your media play in a random order instead of line by line.
• Fast Forward/Back: If you want to skip ahead or go back in your media, this option is available. You can also adjust the fast-forward/back speed in the settings. By default, it is set to 10 seconds.

Alternatively, My Player can also work independently, letting users play audio and video files directly from their device without needing to open the app. This dual functionality ensures users can choose the easiest way to access their media.
• Simple Media Management: My Player acts as a central place for accessing and handling all audio and video files on your device, removing the need for multiple media apps. By combining both audio and video playback into one feature, it simplifies the process of managing media, makes it easier to use, and saves device storage.
• Background Playback: When you play your media using My Player, you can enjoy your content in the background. This allows you to multitask easily—listen to your favorite media while using other apps or features on your device. You can even continue enjoying your media after putting your device to sleep!

Tips for Using My Player

• Fast Forward and Rewind Settings: If you wish, you can change the time for fast forward and rewind. Simply go to the app’s settings, click on My Player, and you will find options for Rewind Time and Fast Forward Time. To change the rewind time, click on it, and an edit box will open where you can enter your desired seconds and click OK. Similarly, you can change the fast forward time in the same way.
• Adjust Playback Speed for Comfortable Media Experience: When watching or listening to any important media content on My Player, you can easily change the playback speed for a better experience. Simply go to the My Player screen, or if you prefer, head to the app’s settings, click on My Player, and then tap on ‘Playback.’ A list will appear, allowing you to select your preferred playback speed, ensuring you can follow along at your own pace.
